This is an insight from the 6th Chapter of the Book of Luke.
Be filled not just spiritually but also physically, in serving God one must also take care of his body, let him who hungers eat. Strengthen yourself physically and spiritually to respond on any day when mission calls. You must not let anyone hinder you from accomplishing your purpose, let no one stop you from doing great things that you were destined to do from the very beginning. Spend time with God and don’t mind the time you spent in seeking Him, it’s not important, what’s important is that in the end you will the one who will benefit from it since communion with God makes the bond between the two of you to get stronger. It will also strengthen your spirit to overcome storms.
Find a company that will help you in your spiritual growth as well as help you in accomplishing the great commission. Someon who can lift you up when you are down and someone who can encourage you.
Don’t be saddened, depressed, stressed nor be discouraged if trials, persecution and mourning will come your way. Suffering them because of Jesus Christ, is normal and the result of it will be endless joy, it will not be on this world but the greater reward is in Heaven, our future home. Woe to those who only spent their lives here on earth in comfort, those who fed their flesh with worldly desires for surely destruction and eternal punishment awaits them, unless they turn from their ways and look unto Jesus Christ.
As Christians, even when unbelievers hurt you, don’t take vengeance in your hand, instead show them goodness through forgiveness. Through that you’ll show how good and how merciful your Father in heaven is and it might bring them to His feet. Love those who can’t love you back, give to those who can’t give anything in return, for the Lord who is just will reward you. Judge not, forgive and give greatly. Don’t pay evil with evil because it will lead to destruction of your souls, for a blind leading a blind causes downfall, one must give way for the blind to see.
A person is known by his acts, his faith will be known by his works. Just like how a tree is known by the fruits it bears. A good person is liken to a tree that bears good fruits, and a bad person is liken to a tree that bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruits, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruits.
Guard your heart always, keep it pure through repentance and communion with God, for it is the well forth of the words we speak.
Call unto the Lord and do His commandments, it’s not easy like building a house with a strong foundation but you are not alone in doing so because God’s help will always be with you. Trust in Him and surely you will reap the best fruits of the land. Don’t be foolish by doing things that are easy, things that makes your flesh comfortable, don’t depend in your own strength for the works of human hands will eventually be destroyed, but God’s works will endure forever.
But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most high, for He is kind to the unthankful and evil.
